Catalina Ponor was in tears after the medal award.

Beth Tweddle

Beth Tweddle was No 2 in the All-around qualification (36.725) and among the firm favourites to win. This was the saddest moment of the competition. She fell from bar during warm-up and landed on her back.

She was being comforted by Amanda Kirby. Beth Tweddle suffered from a concussion and luckily did not break her spine. She was discharged from the hospital the next day.
